What is a vegetarian?

Vegetarians don't eat meat, fish, shellfish or poultry. There are a number of reasons why people choose not to eat the bodies of animals. The main ones are ethical, health and environmental. Being vegetarian is a lot healthier for you. Humans eat meat through choice, as we do not need it in our diets.

What is a vegan?

Vegans avoid all the animal foods that vegetarians don't eat and also avoid other animal products, such as eggs, milk and honey. It sounds difficult, but it's really not! There are now lots of vegans in the UK as more and more people realise that it's a much healthier and kinder diet.
